How do I register and what's the deadline?

Registration is now open. Early bird registration will last until April 10. There is no registration deadline, but you will save $100 by registering before the early bird deadline.

I didn't have to pay a registration fee in the past. Why do I have to pay one now?

Due to increased costs and projected long-term reductions in industry support for DDW, the DDW sponsoring societies have implemented a nominal member registration fee and raised fees for most other registration categories.

Do I have to register and pay the registration fee if I submitted an abstract?

Yes, you still have to pay. Submission of the abstract handling fee does not include registration for DDW.

Can someone register another person?

Yes, as long as they can provide all of the necessary information and payment.

I just want to see one talk.

DDW does not sell registrations for portions of the meeting. Anyone interested in attending one talk will have to register for the entire meeting.

Can my spouse attend DDW scientific sessions with me?

Spouses and guests are welcome at DDW. The registration fee is $45 for both early registration and on-site registration. There will be a special hospitality lounge and exciting tours of the host city will be made available.

Can I bring my child to DDW?

Please note that DDW is a professional medical meeting. In order to maintain this environment, children under the age of 12 are NOT permitted to attend DDW Scientific Sessions or Postgraduate Courses. No exceptions will be made. Children age 12 and older must be accompanied by an adult and must be registered for DDW as a guest in order to attend a session. Children age 6 months to 12 years old are NOT permitted in the exhibit hall. Infants under the age of 6 months are permitted in the hall if they are in a front/back child carrier. Strollers are NOT permitted in the exhibit hall.

Can I register on site?

Yes; however, we encourage you to register in advance, particularly for ticketed sessions, which may sell out. By registering in advance, you can also avoid standing in line on site.

Housing & Travel

How do I make hotel reservations?

Make your hotel reservation when you register for DDW online. The appropriate link will be provided as part of the registration process.

Can I make my own hotel and travel arrangements without going through DDW Registration and Housing?

You must make hotel reservations through DDW, as hotels cannot accept individual reservations.

To make travel arrangements, we highly recommend that you use DDW's travel partner. This will allow you to receive discounts on air travel and car rental rates which are not otherwise available.

What if I need to change or cancel my hotel reservations?

Your hotel's cancellation policy will be printed on the confirmation you receive from DDW Registration & Housing. If you do not cancel your reservation before the hotel's deadline, you will forfeit your deposit. If you fail to arrive at the hotel on your confirmed arrival date, you will forfeit your deposit and your reservation will be cancelled.

How do I get around Orlando without renting a car?

Many of the official DDW hotels will have shuttle service to and from the convention center. A map of shuttle routes from all official DDW hotels can be found here.
