Networking Events

It's All About Your Community

At DDW, you’ll meet with the field’s brightest minds to make connections that create a world of difference for patients everywhere. Discuss your challenges and triumphs with colleagues, gain inspiration from physicians and researchers across the GI discipline and forge new partnerships to collaborate on future projects.

Build Bridges. Make Inroads.

From social receptions to informal gatherings, DDW offers plenty of opportunities to meet your colleagues, forge new partnerships and connect with experts from across the spectrum. Check back soon for a calendar of dedicated networking events.

  • Poster Hall: Gain inspiration from your colleagues’ discoveries and hear directly from researchers on their work. Authors will be at their posters at a dedicated time each day to answer questions.
  • Sessions: Some sessions offer dedicated Q&A time so you can dive deeper into the topic and connect with the experts.
  • Exhibit Hall: Meet with trusted industry partners and discuss your specific needs in the Exhibit Hall or online Industry Supporter Directory.

Taking place May 25, 2022, from 5–8 p.m. EDT, the DDW Virtual Career Fair is an online event connecting GI professionals with private practice employers, group practices, hospitals, health systems and other recruiters around the country. During the career fair, job seekers can browse employer profiles and available positions and privately chat with employers.

It’s an amazing opportunity to meet with the people that actually do the research that you read about. Making those connections is huge.
