Two international airports — O'Hare and Midway — with approximately 1,450 daily direct flights to more than 245 directions make Chicago accessible to the world. Passengers can get to and from the convention center or hotels via cab, shuttle or rental car.
For U.S. residents: please review the Real ID Act regarding boarding federally regulated commercial aircrafts. Depending on your state of residence, you may need to provide a second form of identification at the airport.
Taxis are plentiful and easy-to-hail downtown and at the airports, and offer a convenient way to get around the city. Sample taxi fare between downtown and O'Hare Airport is $40-50, and between Midway Airport is $30-35.
Chicago is also home to several other transportation options, including Chicago Transit Authority, water taxis and rental cars. Learn more.
